Purpose of following lesson plans<\/u><\/em><\/p>\n

Welcome to\u00a0My First Eucharist<\/em>, a family program to prepare for the celebration of your child\u2019s first Eucharist.\u00a0 In these six lessons, you and your child will review how:<\/p>\n

  1. Celebrating the Eucharist models our family celebrations<\/li>\n
  2. Review the Parts of the Mass<\/li>\n
  3. The Story of Jesus provides a model for our lives<\/li>\n
  4. God forgives us when we sin<\/li>\n
  5. We are part of the ongoing story of the Faith Community, and<\/li>\n
  6. In receiving the Sacrament of the Eucharist, we are called to become like Christ whom we receive.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Structure of each lesson<\/u><\/em><\/p>\n

    In\u00a0My First Eucharist<\/em>\u00a0lessons are designed to incorporate activities, vocabulary sessions, learning videos, and activities designed to be done together.\u00a0 Each lesson provides all necessary information and links.<\/p>\n

    Necessary Preparation<\/u><\/em><\/p>\n

    Each lesson plan provides step by step instructions to walk through that lesson\u2019s content.\u00a0\u00a0 Prior to working with your child print and review the lesson to ensure you have gathered all necessary materials and identified the correct video links.\u00a0 This will facilitate a positive experience for both you and your child.<\/p>\n
